Fall Gathering and Annual Meeting is an annual educational and inspirational event open to all women of the diocese.
The Rev. Peggy Hays will be the keynote speaker at the October 12-13, 2007 gathering in Hot Springs. Her presentations will focus on spiritual practice. Peggy, a retired Episcopal priest, lives in Conway with her husband, Steele, and is the former rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Conway.
The gathering starts on Friday evening with a reception at the Gallery Central, followed by dinner on your own, and Compline. Saturday’s activities will be hosted by and held at St. Luke’s Parish. The day begins with a short business meeting with election of officers (for the positions of President, Vice-president, Southwest Convocation Chair and Northeast Convocational Chair), two presentations by Peggy, a luncheon, time for reconnecting with friends from across the diocese, and will conclude with Holy Eucharist at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Bishop Benfield.
To register, mail your completed registration form with the registration fee of $30. Childcare will be available with advance registration.
