Friday, “Quiet Day,” will be led by The Rev. Kerith Harding, and her focus will be Meditations on the Sayings of Jesus. She is the Assistant Rector of Christ & Holy Trinity Church in Westport, CT, and is a member of the National Executive Committee of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship. At the heart of her faith are the commitments to “seek and serve Christ in all persons” and to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being. “
Our keynote speaker on Saturday is Alison “Ali” Donohue, who will present two sessions on Generosity. Ali has served as editor, teacher, and chaplain and is a popular retreat director and speaker on matters of faith and Christian leadership. She has Master’s degrees from Fordham University and a M.A. in Religion from Yale Divinity School. She has studied Islam in Malaysia; established a partnership between a New York boys’ school and St. Al’s, a high school for AIDS orphans in Kenya; interviewed victims of the genocide in Bosnia, and worked with the founder of the Anti-Human Trafficking Desk of the South African Catholic Bishops’ Conference. Currently, she is the New York project manager for the Jesuit Collaborative’s Contemplative Leaders in Action program and teaches Theology at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, CT.
